NHA phlebotomy (CPT) passing score: how many can you miss?

You need a scaled score of 390 on a 200 to 500 scale. Only 100 of the 120 questions count, and because the score is scaled across exam versions there is no fixed number of questions you can miss. Aim for a clear cushion in timed practice.

How the CPT is scored

NHA turns your correct answers into a scaled score from 200 to 500, the same rule it uses for every exam. Scaling keeps different versions equal, so the raw number behind 390 moves slightly. 20 pretest questions are mixed in and don't count.

390 is not "78%". The scale starts at 200.
